Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik has been discharged from hospital after undergoing esophageal surgery.
“I have arrived home in my village. I thank the medical team and hospital staff for their professional attitude and care. The fight for health is a special and personally the most difficult, so thank you to everyone who supported me. I am facing a period of rehabilitation and recovery,” Dodik said on X.
Dodik, as a reminder, underwent esophageal surgery after being hospitalized earlier this week due to acute pain.
While in the hospital, he was visited by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, and Patriarch Porfirije.
